These are the original 1930's Fostoria salt and pepper shakers in the American pattern, and they are gorgeous! They feel and look like cut crystal. They have perfectly clear coloring, and every facet reflects light. They are also heavy. Even without the lids, each weighs six ounces! They measure three inches tall and are six inches in diameter. They are perfect, without chips or other damage. The pewter lids are also original and are weighty, too, each at one ounce. The lids screw on perfectly, are not dented or damaged, but they are tarnished. Something so substantial, however, is not likely to wear away and lose its usefulness. These will last for another hundred years! If you are a collector of this pattern of Fostoria Glass, these will absolutely delight you. They will also be a beautiful addition to your table.
