This listing is for a Fostoria Glass #2524 Cocktail Shaker Mixer in Burgundy, which is what Fostoria called their deep Amethyst color. This item was only produced from 1934 - 36 in this color, whereas the other colors were produced 3-7 years longer. It is 6 1/2 inches tall to the flat rim and holds 21 ounces. The glass is very clean and clear. The only damage that I can find to note are some tiny nicks around the finely ground and polished base, one small chip on the base that I have photographed and one small area of light scratches on the body as photographed. The spout is perfect. There are 2 straw marks, from production, shown in another picture. This Shaker has a very Mid Century Modern look for the barware collectors. Grab this now as who knows when you'll come across another.Please ask any questions that you may have prior to bidding.
