4 FOSTORIA "ROMANCE" DINNER PLATES Up for auction is a gorgeous set of 4 crystal dinner plates made by the Fostoria Glass Company. The etched pattern is called "Romance" (etch #341). It was produced by the Fostoria Glass Company between 1942 and 1986. It has a very attractive floral design with bows and garland. Each plate measures about 9 1/2" in diameter. I purchased this set at an estate sale several weeks ago. Condition of these dinner plates is EXCELLENT with no chips, cracks, or fleabites. The glass is very clear, not cloudy like it appears in the photos (reflections from the lights). I do see some minor utensil scratches from previous use. Overall, the set looks fantastic and would make a fine addition to any Romance table service. Please take a close look at the photos I've provided and judge condition for yourself.
