You are bidding my coin Lot # 0714 which is four (4) Kennedy 40% Silver Half Dollar Coins with a story behind them. I grew up in Wantagh, NY on the south shore of Long Island. In the early 1960's my father, Abe Newman, decided to quit smoking after many years of smoking a pack a day of Lucky Strike cigarettes. As part of his kick-the-habit program, each day he put the change he would have spent on cigarettes that day into a glass pickle jar by his bedside. After a few months, he marveled at the amount of money that accumulated over that period of time. He kept most of the bigger change - the silver quarters and half dollars, and cashed in the smaller coins. But the satisfaction of savings offset the difficulties of quitting nicotine. It was his incentive and reward. He never smoked again and lived to be almost 90. The four Kennedy Half Dollars are in good condition. I am neither a coin dealer nor collector, so I am describing this as best as I can. The coins are a 1965, 1966, 1967, and a 1968 "D". These coins are 40% silver, 0.14792 troy onces. The pictures are the actual coins you will receive. I can sent you more and better pictures upon request.
