Over the next two months I will be listing many items recently taken in on consignment in many different categories, cures, flasks, pontiled medicines, fruit jars, beers, sodas, etc. Regardless of value, all will begin with a starting bid of only $9.99. This lot consists of four (4) Ball Blue color fruit jars, smooth li. These are NOT quarts and are NOT half gallons, they are the SCARCE 42 ounce size. They are 7.875 inches tall. Sometimes referred to as the THREE PINT jars, these are hard to find and are listed as Red Book #9 jar #274. They list for $20 to $25 each, so this lot has a value of $80 to $100. You are getting all 4 jars for one price! Embossed on front: Ball (dropped A, underlined) Perfect Mason. Guaranteed original, NO reproductions sold at Jeff's Trading Post. Great for the collector of fruit jar product jars bottle or bottles. Condition: One jar has a small chip on the top of the beaded seal. Two jars have a small chip on the lip. These chips are minor and would not be seen once you put lids on the jars. One jar is near mint. Minor light wear from use. No lids. I grade this group an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. See pictures below.
