I am listing several pieces this and next week of lovely old china dishes and decorative pieces for a good friend-------they have been passed down for 2 - 3 generations(that she knows of) in her family and being an only child of an only child, and recently retired, she is 'weeding out' all the pieces she has no room for. T is old Limoges, old Haviland and several china pieces from Germany so if you have time please take a look. I have researched as best I can, but because I am not an expert, will describe each in detail and depend on my pictures to tell you what you need to know.......if I miss something, please feel free to email me and will do my best to help. This auction is for: Four (4) lovely old dessert bowls with cobalt & gold accents around the rim, a 1" soft light blue trim and white center with a bouquet of soft pastel old fashioned roses in a bouquet in the center. These are marked in a circle 'LS&S - Carlsbad' and beneath that Austria. Each has the number 3228 hand painted under glaze and then each has another two digit number beneath that -- one is 56, two are 63 and one does not have either of these. They measure about 6" and are 1" deep. It is my understanding that these were made by Lewis Strauss & Son and imported from 1895 to 1917.
