Beautiful MTH American Flyer Mayflower 4 car Set!! The loco has PS2 (Protosound 2.0) This is MTH set #10-1217-1. It first appeared in the MTH 2004 Tinplate Traditions Catalog. Original list price in 2004 was $2495.00 for just the three car set. The extra pullman car (MTH # 10-5034) was an additional $399.95. Total for this set in 2004 was almost $2,900!! We are starting this auction at $799.00 and NO RESERVE after that. High bidder owns this great set. Here is the description from the MTH website: One of the most stunning Standard Gauge locomotive sets to ever grace a pike first appeared in 1927 from American Flyerr. Featuring a twelve-wheel electric locomotive and four matching passenger cars, the original Mayflower set was based on the President's Special set first cataloged in 1926. Unlike the President's Set from the year before, the Mayflower was produced with an all-chrome finish that added to the already rich detail and design of the engine and cars. This extremely limited version of the Mayflower has been included in M.T.H.'s 2004 Tinplate Tradition's lineup with a contemporary version that provides stellar performance to go along with its great looks.
