Here are four Navajo silver buttons. The heart-shaped one is 15 mm with a copper shank, the round one is 19 mm with a silver shank, the large fluted one is 12 mm with a silver shank and the small fluted one is 8 mm with a silver shank. Tooled silver buttons were made for decorating their clothing and moccasins, and could be cut off for pawn or to trade for goods at their local trading post.
