***PICTURED ARE EIGHT ICED TEA SPOONS I HAVE CHOSEN TO BREAK UP INTO TWO AUCTIONS. THIS AUCTION IS FOR FOUR MATCHING, BEAUTIFUL, ANTIQUE, TOWLE OLD COLONIAL, STERLING SILVER, ICED TEA SPOONS. THE WINNING BIDDER WILL RECIEVE FOUR OF THE EIGHT PICTURED. THEY ARE 8" LONG AND ARE IDENTICAL IN SIZE AND STYLE TO THE PICTURE ON PAGE 48 IN THE 1910 TOWLE CATALOGUE. THEY ARE NOT GOLD WASHED AND ALSO ARE NOT MONOGRAMMED. THEY ARE ALL IDENTICALLY MARKED WITH 925/1000, STERLING, PAT. 1895, THE TOWLE MAKER MARK OF THE "T" WITH THE LION (see picture 2). THEY HAVE NO CRACKS OR BENDS, AND THEIR BEADING IS ALL INTACT. THEY LOOK PRACTICALLY BRAND NEW WHICH IS WHY IN MY OPINION THEY ARE NEAR MINT CONDITION. THESE ARE REALLY NICE PIECES WHICH WERE MANUFACTURED SOMEW BETWEEN 1895 TO 1940. *Additional pictures of these pieces can be made available to interested buyers by email.
