BEAUTIFUL Fraktur BY SUSAN S DAUL One of many listed this week by S. Daul and others by Marta UrbanSome of Susan’s work now graces various Museum Shops throughout the country, including Colonial Williamsburg, The American Folk Art Museum, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Daul created an ornament for the Blue Room Christmas tree in the White House, which will remain in its permanent collection.For more about her work please check this link /Frakturs-by-Susan-Daul_c_57.html. She is a nationally known artist well known for her Fraktur pieces and inspirational verses. She uses a PA cabinet maker to make a lot of her hand grained frames and they just set off her art work. This fraktur is numbered 487/1000 and it is dated 1997. It is signed Susan S. Daul and S. Daul It is in excellent condition and ready to hang. It measures 16 1/2 wide by 13 1/2" tall with the lovely hand grained frame. This fraktur contains several versesIn the big heart it reads" Love Bears all things, Believes all things, Hopes all things, Endures all things." Above the heart is a lovely angel and two other angels flying on either side.The heart in the bottom left reads "The greatest pleasure of Love is in Loving". This heart has a beautiful bird perched on it.The heart on the bottom right reads "Two souls with but a single thought. Two hearts that beat as one".
