This is a very interesting item that I think is an old albumen photograph framed behind glass in a circular gold frame. Measures 13.5cm diameter. The image is of a classical scene - a man and woman. She is reaching for the apple in his hand and they are carrying sythes. The image has a very life like almost 3D quality to it. There is a black border and then the frame. The frame has seen some wear and tear and is a little dented in places. The backing is a kind of canvas and again has seen some wear and tear. I think this may be Victorian but cannot be sure. All in all an interesting and very decorative item. Please see my other items - happy to combine postage where possible.
