Nicely framed beaded bag. It was found in my grandparents estate and since they were friends of Chief Burke of the Umitila tribe in Eastern Oregon, I assume it was made by someone of that tribe in the late 1940's. T are no beads that are loose or missing. The bag it's self measures 12"x13" and the outer measurement of the frame is 201/2" square. The frame is 2" deep and the bag is mounted on a dark green mat "floated" over a cream mat. It's a beautiful piece ready to hang on the wall of your home. Since it has glass, I would have it packaged and insured by UPS.
