Framed Shadow Box with Fan Red 10.5 x 13" This lovely piece is framed in a red lacquer frame with glass. The back is wood. I think that it is from Japan...but there is no id. There is a cameo on the black background with letters...i can't translate and would love to know what it says. The paper fan has a scene with a fancy wagon that would be used by ladies for travel. It is done in gold and red. The fan form is black...looks like lacquered wood and there are red silk tassles. There are a few small dings on the frame where the paint has been nicked or scratched but it is in lovely condition. Great for collectors. I love Paypal. I wrap item in the way that I think is the safest, but, I can't be responsible for the post office. Most of my items are vintage. I ship from a non smoking house, but I don't know the story of these items before I get them. I generally steam all the plush before shipping.
