This Auction is for a Steve Kaufman Coca-Cola Plate Painting. Signed and framed. � This is a painting on a ceramic plate. Framed in glass. Signed "SAK" on the front of the plate (see photo). Approx. 13 1/2 in. high by 13 1/2 in. wide. � The painting was given as a gift by Steve Kaufman. In 2006, Coca-Cola placed several of Steve Kaufman's Coke paintings in "The World of Coca-Cola Museum" in Atlanta, Georgia. Steve Kaufman aka SAK 1960 - 2010 Steve Kaufman, former assistant to Andy Warhol painted such timeless pieces such as: Coca Cola, Marilyn Monroe, Mozart, Beethoven, Dali, Wizard of Oz, Mohammad Ali, his money series and his paintings of famous singers, actors and icons. Kaufman's artwork hangs in the White House, the Smithsonian, as well as hundreds of other public and private collections around the world. He has made a name for himself in the art world and market and was internationally acclaimed as the new pop artist. Kaufman was the first American artist to be asked to create portraits for two European masters. Kaufman has been featured on Fox TV and MTV, and was the winner of the Underground Artist of the Year award for creating 55 racial harmony murals.
