For sale My 1975 Framus West German 6 string banjo (Banjitar). Details and dimensions are: Body: mahoganyTop: Framus Nashville skinNeck Material: Not 100 % but possibly mapleFingerboard: Again mahogany not 100%Frets: 20 I have owned this Banjo for about Four years now, Bought from a Framus collector (a personal piece of his) I have played it a handful of times. It plays excellent and resonance is very good. The Nashville skin is split/hole free and very tight still, I believe this was changed just prior to my buying it. The markings 75 C on the back of the headstock denote March (C) 1975 (75) It also has the mark 8474. It has MADE IN WEST GERMANY on the tail piece. Usual knocks and scrapes for a piece of this age (see pics) nothing major. works and plays as it should. Neck is sharp and frets are fine. I have never had it outside my home (smoke and pet free). It could do with a string change but they are ok. Black gig bag included. Reluctant sale due to new family and home........
