This is a beautiful pen & ink wash drawing by Frances Farrand Dodge, a prominent female American artist, born in Lansing Michigan in 1878. She was a talented and well-regarded American artist active from the early 1900’s until her death in 1969. She is best known for her landscapes. She had many individual shows and her work is owned and displayed by the Library of Congress, Smithsonian American Art Museum, Chicago Museum of Art, and the Cincinnati Museum of Art.This drawing is signed but not dated, circa early 1900s. This is a beautiful image, signed in bottom right corner. The image itself is 10 inches by 8 inches.
