Offered is a lovely cup and saucer in the Aurora pattern from Francis Morley & Co. This four color transfer ware is brown, red, yellow and green on white English Staffordshire pottery dating from the 1850s. The saucer is 6 inches in diameter and typical of the period just over 1 inch in height. The cup is 4 inches in diameter and 3 inches in height and without a handle - also typical of the mid 1800s.
