This auction is for a beautiful vintage Franciscan Apple 6" coffee pot with a matching lid. The coffee pot measures approximately 10" from the handle to the pouring spout and stands 9" tall to the top of the finial on the lid. It is hand painted in the apple pattern with a red apple, green leaves, and brown branches. The coffee pot was made for Franciscan by the Gladding McBean Pottery Company of California and has the old 40's "Franciscan Hand Decorated, Made in California, USA" hallmark on the bottom with along with the "Gladding McBean" name. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, crazing or significant defects of any kind that I can see. This vintage coffee pot is being offered at a starting bid that is a small fraction of its market value, and with no reserve. A pair of photographs of the covered coffee pot and the markings on the bottom is presented below.
