This beautiful Grandmug is made by Franciscan China in the pattern, Apple. The pattern was designed in the 1940âe(tm)s and immediately became popular with its brush-stroked apple and branch design in red, green, and russet brown on cream. The mug also has the bamboo-design handle. It measures 4-1/4 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter across the top and bottom. On the bottom is the Franciscan pottery mark (Franciscan, Gladding, McBean, & Co., Made in California, U. S. A., Hand-Decorated, Oven-Safe printed in a circle as shown in photo 2).
