This set of apple dishes belonged to my mother- who lovinglykept it in her hutch, behind glass for many years. From what I understand, she purchased the first basic set and a few extra pieces in the 1950âÂeÂ(tm)s. Later she added some extra plates in the 70âÂeÂ(tm)s and possibly in the 80s, at the end of the patternâÂeÂ(tm)s manufacture. They are very lightly used, with a lovely covered casserole and an oblong serving dish as well as the apple salt and pepper. The set, as I said, is from different periods. IâÂeÂ(tm)ve included photos of the stamp from several pieces. If youâÂeÂ(tm)re interested in knowing the likely date, based on the stamp of any one item, IâÂeÂ(tm)ll be happy to photograph or verify what stamp is on the bottom. is a listing of all the included items: 11 plates 6" 10 plates 8" 6 dinner plates 10.75âÂe 8 cups and 10 saucers [1] covered casserole [1] oblong serving dish Sugar and creamer set Salt and p epper As you probably know, these are heavy dishes. I have not weighed them for an exact shipping quote. I recommend shipping them in two cartons to allow adequate packing material and still be manageable. If you have a preferred method of shipping, please let me know and weâÂeÂ(tm)ll get a price for you ASAP. I prefer USPS, which can handle packages up to 70 lbs with insurance and reasonable delivery times. read more
