Here we have a pair of vintage Franciscan MADEIRA salt & pepper shakers in excellent condition. These shakers measure 3" tall and have their original red rubber stoppers. One shaker has 2 holes while the other has 3 holes. Both shakers are free of chips, cracks, crazing, scratches or stains but the 3 hole shaker has a tiny glaze pop on the side. These dark brown shakers have a band of green at the top edge which means they were made by Franciscan for the Madeira pattern but they would also work great as Franciscan Nut Tree shakers which are the same shape but all dark brown. Since the Nut Tree pattern also has green in it, these shakers fit the color scheme better than the all brown ones. Very nice!
