This is a beautiful old silver 1915 Borgel trench watch .the watch hs a working movement but is not setting or winding ,so probably a stem/winding wheel issue .The case is A1 very good and hallmarked for 1915 .The dial has some minor outer chipping (that cant be seen with the bezel on ) and a hairline presumably the chipping is from an amateur trying to get the movement out ,fortunately this did not damage the case threads or movement , the movement still screws in smoothly and the spring loaded bun crown is still excellent ,not bad for 99 years old! Also the bezel still snaps nicely onto its two fittings .it has a repair engraving inside for 1919 so probably did the great war and then was treated to a service !Please view all my pictures .This great old trench watch watch measures 42mm across , 35mm without the stem & crown & 42mm lugs to lugs approx please mail all your questions on this great war project beauty Borgel registered his "marque de fabrique" or makers mark, in Geneva in March 1887.
