A first edition copy of L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (New York: George M. Hill Co., 1900), signed and inscribed on the loose endpaper by Baum, and dated "August 17th, 1902." Baum has handwritten a poem that reads "'Twas Mr Dooley - dear Mr Dooley,/ He said: 'I'll live and die in/ Waukazoo - / Mosquitoes charm me - / They cannot harm me - / For I am Mr. Dooley-ooly-oo!" The book contains illustrations by W.W. Denslow.8 3/4 by 7 inches
