THE CAINE MUTINYHerman WoukFranklin LibrarySigned, Limited EditionFull Leather BindingPublished in 1977 by Franklin Library, as part of its Signed Limited Editions (i.e. "Signed 60") set, it is a beautiful, leather bound hardcover edition.The book is signed by Herman WoukThe spine is ribbed and the page edges are gilded in 22k gold, as is the design on the boards and the title on the spine. The book has moire endpages and a satin page marker.The binding is strong and tight, the pages and boards are sharp and clean.The gilt on the page edges is clean except for a couple of small, light marks.The front blank page contains a personalized bookplate and a personal imprint on the bottom corner. See pictures.The book comes from a smoke-free home and has no smoke or other unusual odors.The moire endpapers show no evidence of fading.I will package the book with bubble wrap in a sturdy box to protect against shipping damage.I will combine shipping for multiple auction winners. The total cost will be based on the total weight of the package.
