Classic wine-colored leather-bound volume. The Great Ideas: A Syntopicon ofThe Great Books of The Western World Volume Three Mortimer J. Adler, Editor in Chief William Gorman, General Editor Limited Edition 1985 This volume is published by The Franklin Library exclusively for subscribers to The 25th Anniversary Limited Edition of The Great Books of the Western World Warm wine-colored leather binding with 22k gold gilding and decoration. Hubbed spine. Classic burgundy silk moire endleaves, sewn-in satin bookmark. This book is UNREAD, and the binding is in good condition. There is a visible scratch (about 2 inches long) along the spine and front cover of the book, and a nick in the leather on the hub where the scratch begins. There is a slight 1-inch scratch in the gilding along top edge of the pages. There are also a few small pressure dents along the edges of the cover that are visible at certain angles.
