The Franklin Library Pulitzer Prize Library 53 Book Collection This auction is for a magnificent set of The Franklin Library Pulitzer Prize Library of 53 classic literature books. All volumes are bound in genuine leather with bright gilt lettering and ornamentation, gold page edges on all sides, Moire end-papers, silk bookmarks, and illustrated with beautiful color plates made exclusively for this edition. All of these 53 books are in mint condition!!!! A beautiful collection of some of the world's masterpieces, for the scholar or the serious collector! Each of t hese books was found in their original shipping boxes and had never been opened. I personally opened for the first time each box. Inside the shipping box, each individual book was in a cover/box with a gold seal attached. I removed the shipping packaging for these pictures and cataloging. Included with this collection is an origianl brochure describing these wonderful books. These books came from an estate of a gentleman who collected and bought great items but did not open the boxes once the items were shipped to him.
