For your consideration~*~ is a sterling silver ingot from 1971 commemorating the tenth anniversary of America's first manned space flight. The front of the ingot shows an American eagle and the dates 1961-1971, and the words 10th anniversary America in space. The back contains in miniaturized engraving the names, space flights and flight dates of the 28 pioneer astronauts who served during the first decade of America's exploration in space. The side is stamped 1971, The Franklin Mint, 1000 grains of sterling silver. T is a little tarnish on the ingot. Also included is the case is good condition and the letter. The ingot measures 1 3/4"x 3/4". $5 S/H. Paypal is preferred, postal money order also accepted. Insurance is optional. Buyer is responsible for uninsured shipments. All sales are final.
