This is the Franklin Mint Excalibur Legends of Camelot bowl. It is made of fine pewter and exclusively offered by the Franklin Mint company. Designed by artist David Cornell. The bowl is handcrafted and depicts scenes from Sir Thomas Malory's Le Morte d'Arthur. T are six panels around the sides of the bowl with each panel depicting a certain scene from the legend of Excalibur. I do not have the Certificate of Authenticity for this item but if you know the story of Excalibur then you can interpret the meaning behind each panel. Wonderfully sculpted and a great addition for someone who appreciates the lore of Excalibur! The Legend of Camelot bowl is in excellent condition. T is a small area (1/2 inch) on the upper rim of one side of the bowl w it has been flattened slightly. It is also slightly scuffed on the outer part of that side - happened when it was kept for a while inside a cardboard box (third photo). Otherwise the bowl is in great shape. I did not use the bowl for any purpose other than for display. Please e-mail me with any questions! The bottom base of the Camelot bowl has the following information: The Excalibur, Legends of Camelot Bowl, By David Cornell, Presented By The Internarional Arthurian Society, Fine Pewter, The Franklin Mint.
