Franklin Mint - International Museum of the Horse presents The Great Horses of the World - Appaloosa sculpted by Pamela du Boulay. Sculpture is 5 1/2 inches tall to tip of ears; base is 5 inches long, 2 inches wide; horse is approximately 6 1/4 inches long from nose to tail. This loud Appy is lovely sculpture done in porcelain with great detail. This pose shows the Appaloosa in action. Handsome appy with loud markings: dark bay face, neck and legs, mostly white body with leopard spots, and looks like 'indian' markings. White star on forehead, darker shaded muzzle, black mane and tail. I don't see the fine eye definition of the other porcelains, he does not have tri-colored eyes. Entire horse is matt finish. Grass base completes the scene. Comes with the information card describing the history/origins of the Appaloosa which goes into great detail; from the Conquistadors, to the Nez-Perce, to present. No flaws, marks, or chips on this horse, he is in mint condition. He's been displayed on a shelf in my non-smoking house. I do not have his original box. I nsurance is included in the shipping cost. Better to be safe than sorry! Now for the technical stuff: please send payment within ten days after sale ends. I will ship item(s) when payment is received. Shipping is 8.00 in the USA only. I will combine shipping. International buyers:
