One of the most collectable pottery ever produced - Frankoma. This is a pottery created out of a dream of John Frank and has rightfully earned its position as America's useful and beautiful earthenware. Made from Oklahoma Clay dug at Sapulpa it became the basis for all Frankoma ware. The designs are solely the creators. This is a pottery that is endless in its uses. From dinnerware, planters, bath sets, trays, gifts, etc. It is only limited by a person's imagination.This listing consist of a Honey Jar w/ Bee Lid. It is in the Desert Gold color. The bottom is marked Frankoma 803. This is an older piece, made of Red Sapulpa Clay (late in 1954, Frankoma switched to a brick red firing clay located a few miles from the factory at Sugar Loaf Hill). This is in excellent condition.
