Oklahoma Arrows to Atoms Trivet Semi-Centennial 1957 Desert Gold Rutile Glazing with Art Detail Description We have collected Frankoma for many years and always enjoy sharing our collection with others who appreciate the art pottery created by the Frank family since 1933. This trivet celebrates 50 years since Oklahoma Territory and Indian Territory were joined to form the state of Oklahoma. John Frank developed a unique glaze using rutile that gives the impression of being two colors. This trivet, in Desert Gold, was also available in Prairie Green. The story told is how Oklahoma came from pioneers to world leadership in industry in fifty short years. The trivet is in excellent condition, with all three green pads still present on the reverse.
