This is a Frederick Reynolds 6/8 with barbers notch in excellent condition. The grind looks to be half hollow. The front blade face has a flawless mirror finish - the rear and spine ha ve a few spots of staining . It's really a nice blade and will come to you Shave Ready. The scales are top grade black mother of pearl. This stuff is e xtremely difficul t to obtain and even tougher to photograph due to the reflective nature of the pearl. The pictures are nice but do not show the real depth of color in the mother o f pearl. This razor is a showpiece and w ill take center stage in your display case - it may also be used as a daily shaver if you so choose. This is one of my all time favorite raz ors!
