A original antique French Steamer Chest Its been around very long time looks to be circa 1890 - 1915, Pine construction with metal banding.As with with good trunks of great age they come with marks and impresions from a 100 years of trunking around, I have tried to capture these in the pictures. The chest has been fully treated for wood worm, but you can always treat it again for you own piece of mind should you wish.Metal handles at each side, locks & clasps to the front but no KEY its long since gone.Inside is original which may benift from some fresh wallpaper I have given it a good waxing to build up the shine keep waxing over the years and the shine will become deeper it does have a nice patina.Please note this has been around a very long time it does have mark, impressions splits etc this is what gives each piece its uniqueness, Size approx Length =29" Width = 18" Hight = 24 " I always send on a Next day Postage (£19.99) or you are welcome to collectPlease note this is a old chest which has been used for over a hundred years, it will have marks, spits, impresions etc, If your looking for perfection a reproduction type should be sought.
