A beautiful 19 th century French sterling silver tot cup. It is hallmarked with the Minerva headmark signifying 950 standard silver (actually purer than sterling) and a maker’s mark Boulenger. This is the mark of Adolphe Boulenger recorded as working from 4 Rue du Vert-Bois Paris between 1876-1899, hence quite accurately dating the piece. It has been beautifully made having a nicely detailed rim and internal gilding. It is in perfect condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The inside is clean and perfectly useable. It measures 1.5 inches (4cms) tall by 1 and 3/8ths (3.5cms) wide and weighs 20 grams. A beautiful piece.
