French Army Lizard 'Bigeard' Cap For sale is an ORIGINAL French Army made 'Bigeard' style combat cap in Lizard camouflage. As developed by Major Marcel Bigeard during the Indochina War for his 6th Colonial Parachute Battalion in 1953. This pattern was adopted during the Algerian war by the French Army and was worn extensively by Colonial and Metropolitan parachute units throughout the war. Size 56cm. Some fading and wear as shown. Makers mark is mainly unreadable but I think it says 'Le Mans'. Delivery within the UK is by Royal Mail Signed-For. Delivery to the rest of the world is by Royal Mail Tracked International.
