TONNELLERIE D'ART SUPERB PATINA and GREAT CUPS Old French Copper wooden (oak) TYPICAL Spirit or Wine BARREL (1 liter) + 6 faience MAJOLICA Cups : + very beautiful wooden holder ... in very good condition .... old french rich patina .... A large size by Géraud Lafitte (Third photography : blazon GL meilleur ouvrier de France 1933 ). VERY HARD TO FIND ! - Signed by the Best craftsman of France , "Meilleur Ouvrier de France 1933". This wonderful Antique Oak Spirit or Wine BARREL is really AUTHENTIC. It is clearly old and not a reproduction. It comes from Southern France and produces some of France's finest treasures. This one also has the brass insert in the handle (7th photography) which provides character to this old piece .A LAFITTE item is always immediately recognizable by the hight quality of work.This wonderful copper with its old patina and oak barrel has tiny brass and copper rivets.The slats are tight so it keeps wine with the wood expanding and contracting.It is another fabulous piece.Made by the recipient of the distinguished "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" award 1933, it measures : 7.87" x 11.42" wide / 9.84" tall Pound : 1160g °°° There is a little tap, you turn it for the spirit or brandy coming out.
