You are bidding on a one of a kind design. There is NO wired ribbon in this design! I hand dye all of the ribbon s in these pieces.All of the flowers are created using millinery and French ribbonwork techniques. These are created and sewn by hand and attached to crinolin as were the original antiques. The only difference is I use a combo of fabric glue and sewing to attach the crinolin. I believe if the fabric glue had been available in years past it would have been used then. It makes for a sturdier piece. These pieces can be used in scapbooks, crazy quilts or made into pins, jewelry etc. The last picture shows the crinolin cut back. You can also sew snaps on the back and snap them on clothing. These are not washable and while very usable, they should be treated in the same manner you would treat an antique piece. This is about 7x3 inches.
