French Hornby O Gauge Clockwork M Loco & Tender This loco and and matching tender was made in Paris between 1937-50 This version was designed for the M series of O gauge It is red with gold detailing on the body and smoke deflectors. It has a stop/start lever (forward only) on the side (photo 1) but can also be stopped with the Hornby stop rail (a piece of track with lever that is raised to stop the loco from underneath) It is 15 cm long and this is extended by 10cm with the tender which is number 2528. The matching tender has a standard automatic coupling at the rear for attaching rolling stock and has tinplate wheels (photo 6) The loco is fully functional and there is a captive windng key included (photo 3) The loco and tender are in very good condition with all couplings present (this model had no buffers). There is some paint loss and corrosion on the boiler door (photo 2). The loco alloy wheels have some fragmentation (photo 6) but this is not active and the loco runs perfectly.
