French made stamped, Canadian style briar pipe with a bowl size of .74inch in a beautiful black sandblast finish. This is a oval shank pipe with a step saddle stem that is slightly off from center line see photos. This pipe is not 100% perfect and small thigs like this is what makes it known as a second from a major manufacture in Europe. We can't be sure who made it. You can see the old world craftsmanship in the pipe. It was produced before 1980 with the briar wood burls in use at the time in Europe. Excellent everyday smoking pipe to add to your collection.
