Trebelli-Bettini, Zelia (1836-1892). French operatic mezzo-soprano. AUTOGRAPH. The signature of the French Mezzo-Soprano ZELIA TREBELLI-BETTINI penned with the date onto a slip of paper. London, July 18, 1868. The French mezzo-soprano Zelia Trebelli-Bettini's autograph penned on her 2-1/4 inch high by 4-5/8 inch wide creamy white paper with the monograph "TB" embossed at left. Dated "Londres le 18 Juillet 1868", the sheet is signed "Z. Trebelli Bettini". Once folded, the autograph is mounted with glue from the verso onto heavier stock clipped from an album. There is minor staining at the top. Very good.The French operatic mezzo-soprano Zelia Trebelli-Bettini (1836-1892) was also sometimes known as Zelia Gilbert. She was greatly admired by George Bernard Shaw who wrote about her several times.
