Thank you for taking time to view this beautiful heirloom lamp shade. Her name is "Claire de lune" or "Moonglow". She romances past eras with her gentle glow. Reminiscent of the early 1900's, her design dances with the beauty of her light. She feels authentic because she is authentic in her old French laces. The net lace gatd around her crown was hand embroidered years ago, a stitching that is just perfection. And this shade illuminates it beautifully. Not only beautiful outside, under her skirt....she's just as pretty! She's complete with a hand dyed silk charmeuse lining. Varigated fringe flows around the bottom, all hand dyed from my own mix of colors. Along her points is a hand strung beaded fringe. Fringe that I strung using the beads from old jewelry. Her glow is a soft golden and she'll no doubt, captivate anyone who enters the room. And she has two looks. On one side her crown is embellished with an old Victorian shell button, dotted with a rhinestone. The other side has small silk ribbon flowers, hand twisted and sewn. Dimensions are: 5" X 8" across the top, 10.5" x 14" across the bottom, overall height is: 15" from the tip of her fringe to the top of read more
