Hello and welcome! Tuscany Book offers An original hand colored copper engraving from a fragment of the serial Publication: Bilderbuch fuer Kinder Weimar: Industrie Comptoir, 1790-ca.1830. The hand colored engraving we offer was done for the fifth volume, 1805. This engraving was masterfully hand colored around 1805 at the time of publication.The Bertuch Roses are among the best copper engraved roses ever produced. . A 4 page description of the engraving in English,French,German, and Italian is included. Please check out our other listings offered on ebay. We try to list new items every day and will gladly give a shipping discount on multiple purchases. Size of the leaf with the original copper engravings: ca. 9.75” x 7.75” (245 mm x 200 mm). Condition: On hand-made, water-marked paper in very good condition, with minor traces of aging: slight soiling, or spotting, some original paper flaws or impurities, some "plate dirt," edge flaws, etc. We will mention flaws that cannot be seen on the photograph. Please note: We never treat our prints with chemicals to enhance their appearance. Tfore, you can be confident that this engraving will not deteriorate beyond the normal aging process. .
