French soldiers adrain helmet remains found in German bunker at Soissons ridge

This is part of a group of relics that were found in a old German bunker a fews weeks ago which is on Soissons Ridge which was an area that saw heavy fighting during world war 1 the area was mostly fought over by the French but the British fought there for a while and even the Americans were there in 1918.This is a nice find a French soldiers adrian helmet this helmet is missing its rim but the centre section still has its crown and retains some of its original blue paint it is in relic but solid condition and may well claen up with some effort a cracking relic from the Soissons ridge battlefield and the battles of the Marne.I POST ALL MY ITEMS WORLDWIDE 1915 witnessed a number of major battles in World War One, not least at Gallipoli, Ypres and Loos. 1915 was also the year when poison gas (chlorine) was used for the first time. January 8 th : Battle of Soissons started. January 14 th : Battle of Soissons ended after the Germans launched a successful counter-attack against the French. Three battles were fought along the Chemin des Dames east-to-west ridge of which Soissons was a key part in the line the ridge is located to the north of Paris during the First World War.
