FRENCH STERLING SILVER THIMBLE WILD ROSE BOUGH C.1970s For the next few months I'll be selling thimbles from the collection of Clara Backen. She collected for many years and was a very diverse collector so I'm sure you'll find some wonderful thimbles to add to your collection. This French thimble measures 1" tall and has waffled knurling. It's one of the reissues that was done from the old original dies in the 1970s. It has wild roses around the band and is marked France, the Lenain mark and 10; the inside is gilded. It's in excellent condition, in round with no holes. I am always happy to combine shipping on auctions ending within a 7 day period. U.S. SHIPPING is a flat $2.25 for USPS First Class Mail, which includes Delivery Confirmation.
