The Second and maybe last whole moose of the year we will be offering, the moose hide is an awesome Montana moose hide nice thick hair all the way around the hide is 4 feet by about 4 feet wide will be over 15 square feet and it is gorgeous just from a small moose. There was a couple larger skinning holes that have been sewn and this is a pretty little moose hide. Now moose have very thick leather that is shaved and its soft and pliable but not as soft as a rabbitt hide, they are excellent rugs wall hangings and some rendevous folks use them for teepee rugs and you can make all sorts of crafts from them. The hides are tumbled in sawdust or corn cob grits to pull out excess moisture and its nearly impossible to get it all out but we do what we can.
