Fine German FRIEDR. HERDER ABR. SOHN, (And Son) DON CARLOS curved fixed blade Knife. . . Nice Ebony or dark rosewood handles. I have kept this one in the kitchen drawer and use it often. The neat thing about this knife is that it is sharp on the outside of the blades curve, which makes it great for working on a wooden cutting block. The handles have three nickel silver pins and a heavy pewter base. I don't know how old this is. KNIFE is over 8" long. Blade has been sharpened. Has no sheath. Good knife from a well known maker.Lots of eye appeal in this one and very usable. The blade is stamped FRIEDR. HERDER ABR. SOHN with the SPADE logo then cross keys Herter's logo then DON CARLOS.
