Short comments on this piece- A terrific original 19th century Kunichika print portrait of the samurai. Nice color. Artist- Kunichika (unsigned) Condition- Color and detail excellent. Details of the Clearance- All prints offered in clearance start at $24.99; no reserve. These are all original Japanese woodblock prints (except for a group of woodblock reprints- clearly identified as such). In order to offer these prints so inexpensively we cannot identify and describe each print in detail. We have to let the photos do the talking. Unique to each auction are three photos (front, detail and reverse), artist identification (if we have that), short comments and a brief condition report. If we are offering specific details about the print, you'll find that in the comments section. Some prints will have the artists identified, others will not. All of our woodblock prints are printed from wood blocks produced by hand. We do not sell Japanese prints made by any other process. Why on sale? These original antique prints are normally sold at prices much higher than our $24.99 opening bid. So what's up? We're clearing out overstock - some have condition issues, others we're just ready to get rid of. In any case, you're the winner!
