Early HUMMEL Good Shepherd Figurine Mold 42/0 TMK1 Germany Early HUMMEL Good Shepherd Figurine Mold 42/0 TMK1 Full Bee Germany> Fine 1940s (1946 - 1948) genuine Hummel handpainted ceramic figurine> This piece is Hummel's "Good Shepherd," Mold 42/0> Was first modeled by the master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1935, and is now a closed edition> Back of base is inscribed M. I. Hummel> Underside is marked with the prized Hummel Full Bee mark, also known as TM1 or TMK1, for first Hummel trademark, and the 42/0 mold number> Underside is also marked with the black Made in Germany mark, dating the piece to 1946 - 1948> Features a curly haired little shepherd boy in a rust and cream colored robe. The boy has a shepherd's staff in hand and two white lambs, one across the boy's shoulders and the other meeting his gaze from the ground. There is a small flower, blue with a yellow center, near the base of the boy's staff. > Measures 6.25 inches tall x 2.5 inches wide> Weighs 5.6 ounces> Does not include boxCONDITION: Color and condition are excellent. Piece has minor crazing as is normal. No chips, breaks or cracks whatsoever. Comes from a nonsmoking home. All questions welcome.
