From drawings made on the spot by David Roberts, R. A. Lithographed by Louis Haghe. Published by F. G. Moon and Co., 20 Threadneedle Street, London 1843. Limited to 500 sets. DAVID ROBERTS (1841-1849) Folio approx. 23 1/4" x 16 1/4" Really excellent coloring and a great image this HOLY SITE. I am listing this and four other pieces at opening bids that are a fraction of their actual value and much less than anything else listed on Ebay. Don’t hesitate to ask questions if you have them. And second is one of my personal favorites...A GREAT CLASSICAL IMAGE of WORSHIPERS at St. SABA.This piece was folded to be displayed in a frame. I have tried to carefully unfold it. The creases are significant but the entire sheet is there. The image itself is beautiful.The combined value of these two pieces is well over TWICE the asking price. Don't let this lot get away. PLEASE NOTE: The creases on the St. Saba Litho are causing the bottom text to seperate completely from the image at top. I tried read more
