This auction for the pictured vintage lot of 12 : Salvaged Furniture Casters manufacturer unknown , pictured here as recently re-discovered , all in very good used condition . All twelve casters are identical, which could mean they were salvaged from a group of office furniture pieces, I don't know how they were originally used. The wheels look like a hard white nylon or heavy-duty plastic (strong), and measure roughly 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The frame work is natural steel (unpainted), and the stems measure about 1 1/2 inches long and probably require a 1/4 inch hole in the furniture wood. Recent local discovery! ... ...
